We have lots of prenatal classes available! Our courses are taught by professional childbirth educators with experience helping families navigate the birthing process and beyond. Become equipped with the skills for providing comfort to your partner during labor, learn about the physiology of birth and techniques to ease discomfort. You will be confident making informed choices for yourself and your baby.

  • If you’d like an epidural, all of our classes support your vision for birth. Our curriculum does not push an agenda or preference in our birth classes. We love an empowered choice!

  • If you take a medical birth education class elsewhere, we recommend taking our Laboring Together workshop. This hands-on, 3 hour class teaches how to find comfort during labor and how your partner can best support you. Many hospital birth classes skip this crucial information, making it exactly what you’ll want to know as you prepare for labor.

    Take a series class of your choice (HypnoBirthing or Childbirth Prep), Breastfeeding 101, and Newborn Care.

    This covers pregnancy through postpartum and allows you to approach both birth and caring for an infant with the maximum possible confidence.

    *For maximum preparedness, you may also consider taking Infant/Child First Aid&CPR, hiring a doula, and making use of our Student Portal, which provides additional books and videos to further your education.

  • You are not alone! We’re on your team: we want to support you to feel empowered in your valid concerns, and remove concerns that don’t need to be there.

    We recommend our HypnoBirthing class, which deals with mindset and fear in a direct, evidence-based way.

    If pain management is a concern, Laboring Together is a 3 hour workshop that offers guidance to find comfort and ease anxiety during labor.  It focusses heavily on partner support, so you know your partner is fully prepared to support you in the most important moments.

    Consider finding a doula, who can offer guidance and support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

  • We’re so glad you’re here!

    Each class and workshop offers two person enrollment, but you certainly don’t have to be a couple. We highly recommend bringing a friend, family member, or other support person with you to our classes and workshops. All are welcome!

    If you’d prefer to come alone, OR to bring more than one support person with you, we love that too! Send us an email with the class name and date, and let us know how many people you’ll have in attendance. We’ll send you a special sign up link!

  • Our classes can be taken at any time during pregnancy, however, we recommend the late second trimester or early third trimester which allows you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the information prior to birth. 

    We do not offer refunds if you go into labor before the series ends. We recommend taking a class early enough that that won't be an issue, whatever that looks like for you!

  • Packages are a way to bundle our most popular offerings at a discount! When you purchase a package, you'll receive a unique code. You can then use that code to sign up for the included classes and workshops!

  • For the health and safety of our students, Brilliant Births requests COVID-19 vaccination. Masks are not required but welcomed, and are provided in-studio.

  • We strongly recommend that you attend each class in the series. If you will miss one of your regularly scheduled classes, please contact Brilliant Births or your instructor as soon as possible. We will do our best to find another Brilliant Births class that you can attend to learn the information you may have missed. This must happen within the window of time of your original class.

    While we will do our best to accommodate you, we can not guarantee that a space will be available in another class for a transfer. No shows will not receive any form of reimbursement. If another class is unavailable, we can offer a private makeup virtual session (up to 2hrs) at an additional fee of $150.00 or an in-person session at the Brilliant Births studio (up to 2hrs) at $175.00.

  • We know plans change! After sign up, you may cancel up to 7 days before your class and receive 75% percent of the cost back, not including mailed materials. Cancellations within 7 days of a scheduled class cannot be refunded.

    We aim to fill our classes, but if there are less than three sign-ups for a class, it will be canceled or rescheduled. If the dates of the reschedule for your needs, you will be issued a full refund, minus any mailed course material costs.
