Using lecture, videos, and hands-on practice, you will learn how to respond confidently in emergency situations from birth to adulthood. Perfect for parents, babysitters, grandparents, or anyone who wants to be prepared but doesn’t need certification.

Course Breakdown
This is a non-certification, informational CPR and basic first aid class centered around infant and child safety. This is the perfect class for new and expecting parents as you will walk away with the knowledge and skills to confidently address everything from boo-boos to medical emergencies.

Professional Course Breakdown
A CPR class for professionals, doulas, nannies, and babysitters. This 4 hour certification course uses video, lecture, and hands-on practice to prepare you for the end of session practical and written testing.
CPR/AED & First Aid Certification valid for 2 years. Certification dependent on passing in-session test.
Covers essential CPR, AED, and First Aid skills for all age groups
Reflects the latest resuscitation science from ILCOR
Follows 2020 AHA guidelines for CPR and ECC
Open to all 16 years of age and older.

No, there is no certificate associated with our informational CPR and First Aid workshop.
We offer one class quarterly (every 3 months) that is clearly marked as a certificate class. These classes have additional requirements, take extra time, and will confer a certificate at the end.

This workshop covers two people, so make sure to bring them along.
This class is hands on. Please wear clothes you can comfortably stand, sit, and kneel in.
We have tea and snacks in our space, but some people also like to bring their own snacks and a waterbottle.
Overall, bring your positive attitudes and curiosity! We're excited to have you with us.

This workshop is priced as "per couple", or for two people per sign up. If you would like to sign up as an individual, please contact us! It's easy and we're happy to help.

This class is geared towards parents and caregivers. If you are caring or expecting to care for an infant or child soon, it's a good class for you!
We love having grandparents, family, friends, or babysitters attend this class to gain knowledge. As one sign up covers two people, please message us for an individual or additional sign up! You are welcome here.

For the health and safety of our students, Brilliant Births requests COVID-19 vaccination. Masks are not required but welcomed, and are provided in-studio.

We do not offer cancellations, refunds, or exchanges for workshops. If your chosen date no longer works, please contact us to reschedule. If rescheduling doesn’t work with your needs, you will be issued a credit towards a future class. No monetary refunds are given.
The first reschedule of any workshop is complimentary; any future reschedules will incur a $10 fee, charged to your card on file. We do not offer refunds for missed workshops.
We aim to fill our workshops, but if there are less than two sign ups for this workshop, it may be cancelled, rescheduled or moved to Zoom. If rescheduled dates or Zoom doesn't work with your needs you will be issued a code for credit toward a future class. No monetary refunds are given.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the format may change from in-person classes to virtual classes if required by public health guidelines or at Brilliant Birth's discretion. No change in fee will be issued, and no refunds will be given outside of the allotted cancellation policy.
