Please note, availability is limited and not all in-home massage requests can be accepted.

Some factors out of our control may prevent us from offering in home massage to a specific location. These may include reactive pets, accessibility issues, travel time, or other factors to protect our employees and maintain our standard of excellence.

Space: Lack of space for a massage table with unimpeded movement around the table.

Pets: Pets that are reactive or are unable to be kept out of the massage area.

Parking: Homes with limited or far away parking and without a loading/unloading zone, driveway, or similar.

Accessibility: Determined on case by case basis. Multiple flights of stairs, non-working elevators, or any other obstacles to bringing required massage items into the home.

Travel Time: Traffic, rush hour(s), road closures, and other obstacles may make travel time prohibitive even within the East Bay.

Safety: Our massage therapists can end the service at any time for any reason.

Yes. We ask that any other people in the home stay in another area or room for the duration of the massage to preserve a relaxing atmosphere and for the comfort and safety of our employees.

Please note that noise travels and can disrupt the massage atmosphere; we are not responsible for disruptions created by others in the home.

We offer in-home prenatal massages, in-home postpartum massages, in-home Women’s Wellness Massage, and in-home Partner’s Wellness Massage.

We love babies, and know all too well that they operate on their own schedule. If you need to take a break to breastfeed or care for your child, we absolutely understand and support you, but cannot extend your massage time.

All children must have adequate care during time of massage. If you are caring for your child during your massage, they must be in the same room as you for the duration of the massage. For liability reasons, baby monitors cannot count as adequate childcare during Brilliant Births In-Home massages.

Our massage therapists cannot offer any childcare services, and may terminate the massage at any time if adequate childcare is not provided for children in the home.

We offer in-home massage, in-home prenatal massage, and in-home postpartum massage in the following cities:

El Cerrito, Albany, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Piedmont, San Leandro, San Pablo, Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Hercules, Martinez, El Sobrante, Pinole, Mountain View, Concord, Moraga, Valle Vista, and all cities in the East San Francisco Bay Area.

Please note that traffic, rush hour(s), road closures, and other obstacles may make travel time prohibitive even within the East Bay.

For all in-home massages, you will need to provide:

• A space with enough room for a massage table, and comfortable movement around the massage table.

• A pet-free, person-free zone: All pets must be kept outside of the massage area. Any other people in the home are asked to remain out of the massage area for the duration of the massage.

• Please be available up to 15 minutes before your appointment to let the massage therapist into your home so they can set up before your appointment time. After your appointment, please leave a 15 minute cushion for takedown of the massage setup.
