About our classes
Our fitness classes are for people starting in pregnancy, through postpartum, and beyond. Each class is appropriate for all fitness levels, and we encourage you to come as you are. You are welcome here.

This class blends breathwork, mindful release, and a modified vinyasa flow to support the evolving body and nervous system. Students can expect nourishing movement with mild tone-building options, all offered in a soft, supportive space that meets you where you are.

This class blends Kundalini and Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga to support the body, mind, and spirit through pregnancy and beyond. With a focus on breathwork, students will explore gentle postures that regulate energy, encourage release, and prepare for parenthood. Each session closes with Yoga Nidra or a sound bath in a nurturing space that honors your changing needs.

A feel good class designed to support your changing body with gentle, yoga and pilates inspired stretching and personalized strength training using resistance bands. Perfect for all levels, this energizing session helps you build stability, release tension, and feel strong, supple, and supported throughout your pregnancy and beyond.

Parent & Baby yoga can be Mom & Baby Yoga, Dad & Baby Yoga, or Caregiver & Baby Yoga! This class highlights movement and pre-crawling babies in a class that strengthens and grows mind, bond, and body. Expect poses that incorporate baby, grounding positions, and getting your blood flowing! Class ends with a soundbath so you leave relaxed and ready for your day.

That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to invite you to "Your Inner Diva" – a brand new dance class created exclusively for you to rediscover your sparkle and joy. This is your weekly invitation to carve out precious "me-time" and reconnect with your amazing self.
Starting Monday, January 12th at 12:00 PM, we’ll transform stress into strength and sass in a welcoming, nurturing and judgment-free zone. PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM YOGA
Pre-crawling babies welcome! Stay healthy, flexible and strong from the 1st to the 4th trimester and connect better with your baby in our Prenatal and Postpartum Mixed Yoga classes. We will use poses, deep breathing, relaxation techniques, and meditation that may be practiced in any trimester. Parent and Baby Yoga Class on Tuesdays!

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Daniella Morales is an experienced birthworker, herbalist, and yoga teacher. For the past decade, she has combined her knowledge of plant medicines and ancestral wisdom to promote health and well-being for mothers and their babies through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time. She has taught prenatal yoga for 10 years and has 2 amazing kiddos of her own. She knows how important it is to integrate mindfulness and movement into prenatal and postnatal life. In her free time, Daniella enjoys gardening, connecting with nature, and spending time outdoors with her family. She dedicates her work to all women in all phases of their lives, celebrating their strength, growth, and resilience.

Xan’s Yoga journey started with looking for relief from an injury. This led to certifications in Vinyasa, Restorative, Y12SR, and Kundalini Yoga. She loves the challenge in the process and tries to make those journeys both investigative and playful. Classes travel through postures set with the intention to explore and expand one's inner landscape. Use each breath with purpose to calm and support the body, while building strength and flexibility that trains the nervous system to handle challenges and break through roadblocks. There are moments of introspection, finding an edge, and even humor. Students usually leave class feeling softer after a guided meditation at the end. Classes are usually intermediate intensity, and designed for all levels of practice.

Katy Yong has dedicated her life to the interconnected worlds of dance, wellness, and fitness. Her extensive background spans a wide array of dance forms, from Classical Chinese, Ballet and Modern Dance to Flamenco and Latin Rhythms, with training under luminaries like Alvin Ailey and global performances, including the prestigious Edinburgh Festival. She also holds a B.A. in World Arts & Cultures from UCLA.
For the last 25 years, she served as Director of Wellness at the Claremont Club & Spa, a role that profoundly shaped her approach to movement. This experience, alongside her dance career, inspired RitmoKá, her coaching philosophy focused on sustainable dance choreography, body conditioning, mindful movement, and injury prevention.
Currently, she teaches a variety of classes in the East Bay at Shawl Anderson Dance Center and Mahea Uchiyama Center for International Dance.

These classes will allow you to let go and embrace or shift energy to engage with your most authentic self. Focusing on grounded flow poses, conscious somatic movement, and breath work will create more mental space to help you feel energized and release tension. We offer Prenatal Kundalini and Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga Flow to offer support as you grow through the changes that pregnancy, birth, and children bring to your body.
An invitation to regulate the nervous system and connect more internally with ourselves so we can soften into the body while giving ourselves more space and grace to set clear and beautiful intentions for a more earthed state of being.

You are welcome to sign-up at least one hour prior to the class start.

We provide all materials for our in-person classes. Bottled water, sparkling water, and light snacks are also provided free of charge.

Our yoga classes are ready for all levels. Whether this is your first class, or you have years of experience, this class will meet you where you are.

All of our yoga classes are open to all pregnant and postpartum people, with and without baby. However, certain classes focus on postpartum bonding and including your baby all throughout class. We call these Mom and Baby Yoga classes!

We do not offer refunds for missed yoga classes. You can, however, reschedule one class without having to pay an additional $5 fee.

We will cancel a class if there are fewer than two sign-ups or if our instructor is ill. A credit code will be provided for future use. We do not provide refunds.

For the health and safety of our students, Brilliant Births requests COVID-19 vaccination. Masks are not required but welcomed, and are provided in-studio.
